2010 Mazda 3
New Mazda3
The 2010 Mazda 3 comes with completely modified new styling, and greater power. It is a compact car produced in two body styles – the 4-door hatchback and 4-door sedan. Both versions are designed with front wheel drive configuration.
Versions and Trims
The Mazda 3 is produced in “s” and “i” versions; the “i” versioned Mazda 3 is developed in touring, sport, and SV trims. Coming to “s” variant, it is available in Grand Touring and Sport trim levels.
All trims are provided as either hatchback or sedan form as mentioned earlier, and they are available in a high-performance Mazda Speed 3 hatchback version too.
Engines and Transmission
All Mazda 3s are powered by a 4-cylinder engine. The “i” versioned 3 comes with a 2.0-liter engine that can produce 148-horsepower, whereas the “s” versioned 3 comes with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine to deliver power levels of 167-horsepower.
The 2.0-liter models are coupled to a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission, whereas the 2.5-liter versions work in sync with a six-speed manual transmission or optional five-speed automatic transmission.
